Sand Candle

What’s included?

Your Noi Sand Candle box includes everything you need to create your own beautiful candle, quickly and easily.

Inside, you will find:

  •  a hand-poured, eco-resin vessel, lovingly made by me! The vessel is fire resistant and is sealed on the inside with a non-flammable, non-toxic sealer. Tried and tested, these vessels are safe to use for candle applications.
  • 200g of unscented, granulated wax. It is a plant-based wax, specifically for candle making. Depending on the kit you have, the wax may be lightly pigmented with candle dye. There is enough wax in the jar to refill your vessel several times.
  • a bottle of 20 white-tipped matches, so you can enjoy your candle straight away! The bottle has a match striker on the base, for your convenience.
  • a box of 10 candle wicks with tabs. The tabs help to “anchor” the wick in place as it burns.
  • wax shell decorations for you to style your candle. These are best positioned toward the edge of your vessel so they don’t smother the wick.

Instructions – IMPORTANT

Sand candles are one of the safest candles to burn, however it is important to follow the below instructions to ensure your candle is assembled correctly, for safe burning. 

  1. Pour sand wax into vessel, filling to approximately 2cm below the rim.
  2. Insert a wick into the centre of the wax, burying the tab and leaving 5mm of wick exposed above the wax. The wick tab must not hit the bottom of the vessel as the wax will melt too low and adhere to the vessel. If necessary, raise the wick off the bottom of the vessel & trim the wick if it is too long.
  3. Gently wiggle/tap the vessel to level out the wax, then place your wax shells around the edge of your vessel. These are safe to melt.
  4. Place the vessel on a stable, heat resistant surface away from drafts and flammable objects.

  5. Light your wick(s) & enjoy!

NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED
DO NOT BURN YOUR CANDLE FOR MORE THAN 3-4 HOURS AT A TIME
KEEP CHILDREN & PETS AWAY FROM BURNING CANDLE

After Burning
  1. Once extinguished, allow melted wax to cool & harden around the remaining part of the wick.
  2. Once completely cooled, remove the hardened wax ball with wick from the vessel & pour remaining sand wax back into the jar for reuse.

NOTE: The longer the candle is lit in a single burn, the more wax it will consume.

If you have run out of wax, wicks or shell decorations, please reach out! I am happy to put together a refill pack for you that you can purchase through me directly. 
If you have run out of matches, any supermarket-variety lighter or matches will work.
